I love soup...I love every thing about it, but mostly I love making it. I get lost in the process, it's like meditation for me. I love the chopping, dicing, and slicing, I love adding all kinds of unique spices, and flavors. I never know how a pot of soup will turn out, it's always a mystery...but I just LOVE it!
I never judge a carrot, I never second guess an onion, or resist the garlic, making soup flows, it's organic and natural...the way life could be lived if we would just get over the fear of making a mistake.
As we live we make choices that "feel" right to us, taking a yoga class for instance. After studying yoga, we might decide to learn something else that is completely unrelated to yoga, and it might not make any sense to us why, other than "it just feels right". Do it! And...then we decided to do something else, and....then something else....and then....It's just like making soup, we add a carrot, then we decide to toss in an onion, perhaps some ginger, or garlic...and we're on our way to a yummy pot of soup.
I know changing jobs feels more "life threatening" than adding a carrot, but that's fear...a belief in your inadequacy, RE-MEMBER you're the Chef, so what can really go wrong? Trust in the process - you are more intuitive than you might THINK, just feel, trust, and move! If it helps, don the chef's hat and apron, and make "soup" out of your life! When it's all said and done, imagine, serving it to God on a silver platter! And, of course, God would respond, "this is the most unique soup I've ever tasted!" Unconditional yumminess!
We are learning to mix ingredients, creating our own unique flavor or taste and it helps to surrender judgment on what we choose to add into the pot, or into our lives. Life doesn't always make sense, it's impossible for it to do so because it's a mystery to some degree, just count on it being delicious and it will be. No body will ever make a pot of soup like yours so enjoy it, and share it proudly with others, nourish those around you with the presence of YOU for your essence is yours and yours alone. Enjoy!
