It is ever so small, yet you make it ever so big, just like the ego. What is the fear? That the flea will wreak havoc on your home, that you will be over powered and inundated with these tiny creatures. It is the mind that is inundated with thoughts that is the challenge. The mind is the terrain of the ego, and it is inundated with thoughts, many not helpful or inspiring, yet you don’t flea bomb your mind. The flea stimulates motion and activity in the stagnant or the uninspired. The mind can do this too, it can stimulate activity, yet most of it of the itchy, reactive type, with little inspiration or good. The ego stimulates fear, as does the flea.

Step out of the fear and stand in the love. See the sameness between you and the flea. Understand that it too feels small, afraid, and hides, just like you. You hide in the fur of God, running from its touch. Be not afraid of the love of God. Let the love of God make you feel larger than life, unafraid, and free from the confines of fear. Come out, come out, wherever you are, and step into the light of day! And…in joy!

Reiki in Sports

Not so long ago, the earth’s shape was questioned. The common belief was that the earth was flat, but over time, and with great courage, this belief was proven wrong, and the rest is history. Could this be happening today too? Could we be playing a part in a gigantic evolutionary shift of consciousness to which our children’s children’s children…will read about us and say, “can you believe they ever thought that way!” Aren’t we amazed that those “others” ever thought the earth was flat?

Many of us who “do” reiki experience incredible results in our personal lives and in those we treat. We’re jumping up and down shouting “the earth is round!” But we live primarily in a world full of individuals who insist that the earth is flat, i.e. naysayers of a new viewpoint, that we are energy not just matter.

I was at my first football game, EVER, last week, and a RHAM player got hurt. I was told that this was his second injury in two weeks. I was inspired by this boy, and decided right then, that I would make it my life’s mission to make reiki so commonly accepted that all athletes, no matter what their age, will have reiki available to them before, during or after a game if they so choose. Why? Because it works!

If we are energetically strong, our bodies are well nourished, flexible, limber, and can respond to the stress and strain of the game, and of life. Sometimes we have energy blocks in the body often caused by emotional stress, old injuries, or trauma, which will cut off the energy flow. If there is a block in the energy system that part of the body is mal nourished energetically and injury is more likely. This is similar to squeezing a plastic straw while trying to sip up juice. You have to work hard to get a tiny bit of juice through the pinch of the straw, right? The body responds the same way.

Over the years I’ve had the privilege of working with many young athletes who’ve been injured. Many of them getting right back into the game after ten minutes or more of reiki. I’ve worked with kids who’ve had repeat injuries and after receiving reiki their lives were quite different and they were energetically strong.

One rainy, cold, dark, and windy evening I had a middle-age couple show up in my Mansfield office. The husband was dragged to my introduction to reiki by his wife and not happy about it, very skeptical to boot. I placed my hands on his shoulders for a few minutes and he states, “boy my knees are all tingly” and I responded “that’s usually an indication of an injury. Have you injured your knees?” He explained, “I played football in high school and had a few surgeries on both my knees.” I believe the reiki energy was healing his scar tissue. Imagine what his life would have been like if he had reiki available to him right after his surgery, or better yet, right after his initial injury.

Reiki isn’t a household word, yet. If you were curious about reiki, I would recommend you attend an introduction to reiki rather than just reading about it. Many of us began skeptical. I was and Charles Way, the Director of Player Development for the NY Giants, was doubtful, but we didn’t allow our uncertainty to get in the way of experiencing gains in our lives. At an introduction you’d have the opportunity to experience what reiki feels like, ask questions, and then decide for yourself, yea, or nay.

Happy Last Anniversary

For 20 years I’ve walked up the mountain on this day,
With enthusiasm
Excitement
Passion
Sorrow
Grief
Horror
And loneliness
How does one end a long marriage?
How do you let go…
Of the tradition
The habit
The commitment
The dream
The investment
What do I do on this day?
Work
Play
Celebrate
Mourn
How do I want this day to be?
Peaceful
Joyful
How do I want my life to be?
Passionate
Rich
So what do I do in this day…
I let go!
And…
Celebrate ME

Coffee with Mary – Step Out

Have faith dear One, have faith…all is not lost. There is no mistake for your being there. The only mistake is forgetting to receive the gift of the moment. There is always a gift for you to receive however quite often it is fear that is obscuring the gift in its entirety. You are much bigger than you think. You have within you all the answers to all the problems you could possibly create for yourself. Do not forget for a moment that you have a hand in all that is occurring in your life, for you are the Master Creator with a grand vision. You will remember the truth of your divinity – your oneness. If you’d recognize how easy it is to just sit quietly and pull all those parts of you that have scattered, like ants running for safety, you would it. The first thing is to recognize that you are scattered, and not operating in the world wholely (holy). This feels a bit jittery, like an underlying nervous tension, usually felt just below the heart in the diaphragm. Most of you aren’t aware of this feeling. Yes, easy to say, I know, but it is important to remember that in this moment you create your next. Before you know it you are resisting life itself.

Stretch and breathe…breathe and stretch. You will marvel at how much easier life is if you remember to breathe deep full breathes. The breath allows you to be limber like a cat so you can land on your feet in all circumstances. Stretch and breathe…breathe and stretch.

When the energy bursts forth from the seed it requires great force, yet it is the pull of the sun, and the draw from the earth that encourages the seed to break open its hard shell. You are seeds ready to bust out with new life and vitality. Try to remember this when you feel challenged and breathe and stretch so you can break open the hard shell that surrounds you. Within the seed is the blueprint to create the tree, and the fruit. As such, within you is the blueprint with the answers of how you can solve your current challenges. As the truth is hidden to preserve your secrets, those indiscretions that are committed, you unfortunately begin hiding as well. You begin hiding your truth behind the illusion. It is hard, yes we know, but it is important to be mindful and aware of where you’re going and where you want to finally end up. Many of you have lost track of your thinking. You are allowing your minds to drive your life’s vehicle and many of you feel lost and out of control. This is similar to allowing a toddler to drive the car while you sit in the passenger seat. This isn’t prudent. It causes accidents, pain, and suffering. Once your mind and attention is under your will you will begin to see the magic.

We would encourage you to just watch your thinking. Just for a day. Just for this ONE day, place a bit of your attention on your thoughts. You’ll see what wonderful creators you actually are once you are aware of the thought that has created your current reality. It is there and you will see this.

The New Kids on the Block!

By

Eaglemoon Raes

I remember what it was like to be home. Frequently in my parenting, I felt like I was trying to navigate a clipper ship around Cape Horn with two conflicting paradigms continuously colliding, ya know what I mean? It didn’t seem so difficult when the sun was out but once the rain, wind, and waves hit, panic and overwhelm set in too. In raising my kids, most of what I believed to be true, my indoctrination, no longer fit in with my mothering. The books all seemed out-of-date, the “experts” often fell short in their advice, and little by little the truth of my children’s extraordinariness began to be revealed and my worldview changed forever.

The “new kids on the block” also known as the “Children of Now” are highly evolved beings with exceptional gifts. They’re trying to wake us up to the truth of whom we are by stretching us in our thinking, expanding our viewpoint, and urging us inch by inch to step out of fear and stand in love. Not always an easy feat however and many of these children are exhausted and frustrated.

“The New Kids on the Block” are highly sensitive, and intuitive. What they hear is not what they feel, and they can detect deception. If you’re like me, I had the idea that what was in my head was only known to me, and…I hate to admit this, I had so little control of my mind that I didn’t even know all the thoughts, many of them negative, in my own head. We are amplifying like radio antennas and these children are receivers. I started to wake up when, at three years old, my daughter told me, “I know when you think I’m annoying and don’t want me around.” Ut oh!

We can no longer deny that there is more to life than meets the eye. “Seeing is believing” is passé and we must understand that believing is seeing. Currently we don’t have the technology to measure the subtle fields of energy or the high frequency biophysical energy fields that these new Children carry. Today, from a scientific or medical standpoint, if it can’t be quantified then it must not exist, right? But this is not the truth, and it’s time to trust our hearts and not our heads.

Metaphysics is merely just that, a study of everything outside of what science can measure. Many people get freaked out about this subject, but if you’re a parent, caregiver, teacher, or work closely with children in anyway, I would urge you to read, Dr. Meg Blackburn Losey’s book, “The Children of Now”. This book will help you understand that we can’t insist these kids fit into the tiny little boxes we’re so comfortable in. Maybe you’re no longer comfortable trying to fit in, yearning to be real and authentic yourself, if so, just stretch and breath into the adventure of a lifetime! I promise you, you won’t be sorry.

Life is thrilling!

"Life is good", isn't that our contemporary mantra?

But...it's funny, don't they also say, "Life is like a roller coaster"? So, which is it?

Recently, I was in a gigantic growing period, one I was resisting. I was pondering how I was feeling and I realized the emotions felt exactly like a roller coaster ride, but not fun. Then I remembered, WAIT A MINUTE! I LOVE ROLLER COASTERS! So, I've just decided to relax and enjoy the thrill.

What about you, do you like roller coasters too? Try not to read too far ahead, only one page a day, and each step is a word and each breath a letter. Enjoy it. You will find peace."

SPRING TO LIFE

Spring to life!!

How nice it is to be stepping

into the budding of life!

Fresh, and awakening,

growing upward into the light

from the darkness of the earth!

Grow baby grow!

Root and blossom!

Let your full essence spread

around the world

on the gentle winds of change.

Lets cross pollinate

Lets see what we can create anew!

The time has come for us to allow

the unknown parts of us to surface

and come alive.

How exciting!

A whole new crop in the making!

STOP! DROP! AND ROLL!

Happy Spring!

All children know to STOP, DROP AND ROLL when they're on fire, but have you ever considered when frantic with fear, and reacting to the world rather than responding, that STOP DROP AND ROLL is also good advice?

STOP - stop right where you are. Don't move an inch.

DROP - drop into your center, drop down to the ground and pray, meditate, or use whatever tool you've collected to help you quiet down.

ROLL - now roll ahead, or roll on the ground giggling, it's time to move forward with inspired action, not reaction.

When we are reacting to our life's story it often feels like we're on fire, and sometimes we act that way too. Do you know what I mean? So, STOP, DROP AND ROLL! is a wise move.

We are all gathering our tools that help us through the challenges of life. I really urge you, if you haven't done it yet, to find what makes you raise your consciousness from react mode to a more heightened awareness. Bring yourself back into the NOW, this is where the unknown becomes known!

What can you do to drop into your center? Deep breaths are good, counting breaths are great, inhale for a count of 5, hold for a count of 5, then slowly let it out for a count of 5. I began by listening to just one bird at a time. That was amazing!

Explore, experiment, and be curious about what makes you tick and don’t forget STOP – DROP – AND ROLL if you feel in the hot seat!

In peace,

Eaglemoon Raes
eaglemoon@eaglemoonraes.com

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://eaglemoonraes.blogspot.com/2009/03/stop-drop-and-roll.html' title='STOP! There were 3000 people from all around the world attending and many of them brought their families with them, so it was a very amazing, mind opening experience. As we are at war now, it seems so odd to say this but I can really see that World Peace will be a reality, after spending two weeks with such dedicated people with this intent in their hearts!

I wanted to share this inspired information I received on October 23, 1998 in the hope that it will bring peace into your life... it did for me today...

Good morning Dear One,

How you struggle! You're not able to see your blessings through your worry. You would do well to sit in nature surrounded by all the beauty, go up to the "church" and you will find peace, you will find directions and you will see the light. You're not seeing the direction, or the intention of your being on Earth. You're clouded with Shoulds, and Shouldn'ts, Wouldn't, and Couldn'ts, and you're not seeing the path of ease. Your not seeing the liberation of each move you make. You're clouded with fear, worry and limitations. You feel so tied up, you feel bound, you feel imprisoned, but you have the key to the cell. You don't feel the key in your own hand, feel how cold and heavy it is? Do you know what the key is? Live, Love, and Laugh! Find the humor, find the intentions, and Love as you've never loved before. You feel closed up, you feel trapped, you feel so burdened but you can leave these burdens behind, live on the peak, jump from peak to peak. If you sit in the quiet you will see how easy life is, if you'd sit in the quiet you will see the light. If you sit in the quiet you will see the wisdom of your ways. You would do well to sit or go someplace alone. You need to sort out and "discreate" all that you don't want in life, you believe if you just had a burst of energy you would just jump out of the pit, you can ask for a hand, you know, you don't need to make the climb alone. We would gladly take your hand, just ask!

in peace,

Eaglemoon Raes
eaglemoon@eaglemoonraes.com

My Favorite Polite Word is “You’re Welcome”

Today, we often hear the expression “have an attitude of gratitude”. It’s an interesting idea. What does this mean to you?

We often hear parents reprimand their children by saying “what do you say”…. and they reply, often without knowing why, “thank you”, but why do we extend such courtesies?

For me, when somebody says “thank you” I then get to say, “you’re welcome” and my world gets bigger. I get to welcome them into my life, and into my heart. And…I want to be welcomed into the lives of others. There is nothing worse than the feeling of being unappreciated, feeling unwelcome, and feeling excluded and alone. So when we say, “thank you” we give others the opportunity to welcome us!

When we welcome people in to our homes who have no place to go, or love those who have nobody to love them, or allow others into our lives without hiding behind a veil, we will find that all we have within us will double, all that we need will be provided, all that we desire will come forth. When we open our hearts and let the full force of our being sing out, we welcome others to do the same. And…then we can really live in appreciation, having an attitude of gratitude!

So...today is Valentine's Day! Lets open our hearts and Welcome the World in. Lets see how often we can say, "you're welcome" today, and lets make sure we also say, "thank you" so we can be welcomed too. Lets step more deeply into Oneness and let the world sing!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Your Life is like a Big Pot of Soup!

I love soup...I love every thing about it, but mostly I love making it. I get lost in the process, it's like meditation for me. I love the chopping, dicing, and slicing, I love adding all kinds of unique spices, and flavors. I never know how a pot of soup will turn out, it's always a mystery...but I just LOVE it!

I never judge a carrot, I never second guess an onion, or resist the garlic, making soup flows, it's organic and natural...the way life could be lived if we would just get over the fear of making a mistake.

As we live we make choices that "feel" right to us, taking a yoga class for instance. After studying yoga, we might decide to learn something else that is completely unrelated to yoga, and it might not make any sense to us why, other than "it just feels right". Do it! And...then we decided to do something else, and....then something else....and then....It's just like making soup, we add a carrot, then we decide to toss in an onion, perhaps some ginger, or garlic...and we're on our way to a yummy pot of soup.

I know changing jobs feels more "life threatening" than adding a carrot, but that's fear...a belief in your inadequacy, RE-MEMBER you're the Chef, so what can really go wrong? Trust in the process - you are more intuitive than you might THINK, just feel, trust, and move! If it helps, don the chef's hat and apron, and make "soup" out of your life! When it's all said and done, imagine, serving it to God on a silver platter! And, of course, God would respond, "this is the most unique soup I've ever tasted!" Unconditional yumminess!

We are learning to mix ingredients, creating our own unique flavor or taste and it helps to surrender judgment on what we choose to add into the pot, or into our lives. Life doesn't always make sense, it's impossible for it to do so because it's a mystery to some degree, just count on it being delicious and it will be. No body will ever make a pot of soup like yours so enjoy it, and share it proudly with others, nourish those around you with the presence of YOU for your essence is yours and yours alone. Enjoy!

Allow Your Children to Be!

This message came to me on 2/2/99 and I wanted to share it today…

“Now what I would like to speak to you about is to allow your children to BE. To teach them, and this isn’t just your children, but all children, to BE. They have so much inner wisdom, but they’re not given the chance to use it. They’re always being told to do this, to do that, they’re being shuffled here, and shuffled there. They’re not given adequate time for reflections, listening within. We urge you to slow down, and bring your children to your side, sit in the quiet with them, breath with them, embrace them, just sit in the quiet. Listen to the birds, listen to beautiful music. It doesn’t have to be long, but what is required is to synchronize your breathing. This is a very powerful thing to do, when you sit and read to your children, especially at bedtime. You’re able to breathe at the same rate, your breathing is in harmony. You can sit in the quiet when a child is sad, angry, and disappointed and just breath, your breathing will soon be in harmony. The problem right now is that so many of you are in a hurry, you’re not valuing the simple life empowering aspects of your day. If you can’t see the results, if you can’t hold it in your hand, then it isn’t of value, but you will see great results if you try this. Read to your children. Sit down, don’t be in such a rush, nothing is as important than sitting with the children, all else can wait. When they are older make a pot of tea and sit at the table, make time for quiet activities with your children.

Chances are your children are already guiding you in this department. You may want to fill them up with activities but they just keep saying no, you may think they have no interests, but they’re wanting you to come home again. BE quiet, BE home, BE quiet, BE in the rhythm with the day, with nature, with life. They don’t need to fill their days up with activities, they’re happy. When we got to the west side of the mountain, between the Pacific Ocean and the mountain, I became very claustrophobic. I was surprised by my response; trouble breathing, anxious, and jittery. When we finally drove south, beyond the mountain, I thought, “thank God, now we can go home”. But you see “home” was in Connecticut, even though I was staying at my sister-in-law and brother-in-law’s and had been there for only 2 days before setting out for this little adventure their home had become my known – i.e. home. I realized I was homesick.

My spirit guide explained to me that being “homesick” is a common unconscious feeling that many hold. Not necessarily homesick for a physical dwelling but for their spiritual home, heaven, the light, whatever their idea of this known location of love, comfort, and peace. I understood that many people make choices that aren’t necessarily life enhancing perhaps to hasten their time on earth. This isn’t a conscious action, of course, but my hunch is that most addictions stem from this unconscious desire to “go home”, “to blow Dodge”, “to get the heck out of here”…

Remember how you felt at summer camp? It was fun and all, but in the background of those quiet moments was a longing to be back in the comfort of the familiar. As much as many of us have the desire to live, to be alive, we also have the resistance to living, to truly being alive too.

Face Your Shadow for What it really is!

This morning I woke up with such enthusiasm. I haven’t been excited to wake up in years. I have felt lost and confused for so long, that I felt exhausted even before my feet hit the carpet to begin my day. What changed? Let me try to explain…

From my blog entry from yesterday ~ Groundhog’s Day ~ I quote “Many of us are hiding away like the groundhog in a darkened cave. Hiding our full potential from ourselves and from the world. Afraid of our own shadow, we hide away in the dark, so we can no longer see it. What would happen if we recognize that our shadow is merely a reflection of our own self-illusion as we stand in the light of love?” Ummm

What I realized this morning was that I actually lived with my Shadow Self. Imagine that? Most of us live with our Shadows. Our shadow is whoever pushes our buttons the quickest, whoever we run away from, whoever we criticize, blame, and judge, whoever makes us squirm in their presence. When we stop and face our shadow and recognize it as a “reflection of our own self-illusion as we stand in the light of love” we can let it go, and as we let it go, we let ourselves go and all that is left is love…ummm!

The inspirational message has ended but if you’re looking for a special deal please keep reading.

I am offering a Groundhog Day special Until February 14th to help you come out and play. Come out! Wherever you are, come out, come out and play!

Oddly, Groundhog Day is becoming one of my favorite holidays and this is why…

Many of us are hiding away like the groundhog in a darkened cave. Hiding our full potential from ourselves and from the world. Afraid of our own shadow, we hide away in the dark, so we can no longer see it. What would happen if we recognize that our shadow is merely a reflection of our own self-illusion as we stand in the light of love?

Why do many of us choose fear over love? Could it be to hide our shadow? Why are we so afraid of being loved, or loving? Why do we make it so difficult? Why do we put so many conditions on love? Why are we so hard on ourselves? Aren’t we loved? Don’t we come from love? Won’t we return to love? Isn’t love all there is?

I find it interesting that Groundhog Day and Valentine’s Day exist side by side of each other. Today is Groundhog Day, but all around me I see hearts, urging me to share my love, to be an expression of love, and to allow love. I am being encouraged to step out of fear and stand in love and when I do I might see a shadow, and my natural tendency would be to retreat to the cave believing that I’m not good enough to be loved, or I can recognize that the shadow is merely a reflection of my own self-illusion.
If I retreat back into the cave, like the groundhog, I might experience six more weeks of winter and the feeling of winter might actually extend throughout my lifetime or I can stand in the light of love, and enjoy the warmth like that of the sun, helping me grow vibrant and alive, happy and free.

So…I remind you on this wonderful Groundhog Day to
come out, come out, wherever you are, come out, come out, and play!

The inspirational message has ended but if you’re looking for a special deal please keep reading.

Oh yeah, if you’ve read this far, I am offering a Groundhog Day special Until February 14th to help you come out and play.
